Meeting Nichole, An AISEC Internship Volunteer

Slow but sure, I’ll try to post with English language regularly..

Two months ago, I met a beautiful German lady in Trans Semarang *usually called BRT*. Her name is Nichole. She is an English teacher and currently volunteering herself as an elementary teacher in Ungaran, Central Java. After a short chit chat I knew that she joined AISEC Internship in Indonesia for two months. We spontaneously get along well. :)
We discussed many things such as she enjoying how nice Indonesian people treat her as stranger in their country and how much she love to teach Indonesian elementary student. She said, I think they do understand my explanation very well although they haven’t speak English yet.
When she heard about Yogyakarta, she continuously ask me how to get there. where should she visit first? And I just said that she must not worry about it. Yogyakarta is the heaven of tourism. There are too many places she could visit and Yogyakarta is only 3 hours away by bus from Semarang. I just recommend her to visit INCULS Yogyakarta to learn Indonesian language fast; within two week to speak Indonesian fluently.
We didn’t realize how fast the time flies until we pass Lawang Sewu, only one more stop to our halte. It has been one hour since we start chatting. Some people stared at us as if we are the only noise in this bus. I thought they enjoyed our conversation well-It’s too random for Indonesian, who wear hijab like me, to speak comfortably with Bule *Our call for white people tourist in Indonesia* and we hug each other too.. hahaha
Our summary is, Indonesian is one of most visited country for Germans. Yes dear, our country is so lovable!
I said goodbye in Halte since I got to change bus and she got to watch movie Mission Impossible in Paragon Mall. Last hug, Oh my bad attitude keeps going, I forgot to ask her contact. Nichole, I know it's hard to meet you again but I hope you read this post please…
I have a picture you requested about cultural tourism in Java!
Love, Ica
